Baldur elevates sliding door hardware to new levels with a patented, industry-unique hubless design. Custom Massive unsealed bearings, four inches in diameter, provide Baldur’s iconic movement. It’s a modern, impactful look and completely original. Open eyes as you open doors with Baldur.
Baldur sliding door hardware is precision-manufactured from high-quality 300- and 400-series stainless steel. Our engineers considered longevity when they chose the best grade for each component. Tested through 130,000 open-and-close cycles, Baldur is hardware you’ll love for the life of your building.
Baldur can be configured for panels weighing up to 400 lbs (for heavier panels, contact Krownlab Support), giving you the flexibility to work with door panels of almost any size and material. The wide steel-on-steel contact surface between the bearing and the track ensures that even the heaviest doors will glide smoothly and quietly year after year.

Unlike our surface-mounted systems, which reference off the face of a door panel, Top Mount can be biased either toward the front or back of the panel, allowing you to get precisely the desired distance away from your wall. A slotted mounting channel in the foot of each trolley lets you fine tune the final trolley location even after installation. Because of this adjustability, we recommend Top Mount for installations involving door trim, molding, or base board.
Working with a particularly thick door panel? Top Mount is often the best option. If your panel is 1-3/8" to 3", or up to 2-1/2" with typical wall trim, Top Mount has you covered (for thinner panels, contact Krownlab Support). By biasing trolleys toward the back of the panel, the only upper limit to your panel thickness is the material you find. So take that slab of reclaimed lumber, and go forth with confidence.
When it comes to construction, we know that no two surfaces are ever perfectly perpendicular, and things that were once level might not be after a few months. The deftly-hidden, patented vertical adjustment feature in our Face Mount trolleys lets you fudge the difference. A full 1/4" of vertical play in each trolley can make up for a multitude of earlier imperfections, and ensures that every installation looks perfect (even if it's just a trick of the eye).
Face Mount supports panels as thin as 3/4" and as thick as 1-3/4" (for panels outside this range, contact Krownlab Support). Keep your door trim and baseboard in mind; cantilever limitations leave 1-3/4" panels with just 1/4" clearance between door and wall. Not sure exactly how thick your panel will be? Don’t worry, we include all the necessary mounting screws for all panel thicknesses.
When it comes to construction, we know that no two surfaces are ever perfectly perpendicular, and things that were once level might not be after a few months. The deftly-hidden, patented vertical adjustment assembly in our Glass trolleys lets you fudge the difference. A full 1/4" of vertical play in each trolley can make up for a multitude of earlier imperfections, and ensures that every installation looks perfect (even if it's just a trick of the eye).
Although 1/2" is the most common glass thickness we see, our Glass hardware is compatible with 3/8" to 1/2" thick panels. (Prefer the metric system? Our Glass Mount hardware systems are compatible with 10mm to 12 mm glass) Glass systems include a 2" long stainless steel bottom guide specific to the thickness of your panel.
This classic No. 4 directional finish is consistently our most popular. The hairline, linear graining is smooth to the touch but adds a sophisticated texture to the hardware. Brushed Stainless requires no ongoing maintenance, simply clean as needed with a lint free rag, wiping in the same direction as the grain.
This finish features a fine graining that isn’t lost in its rich black color. The hairline, linear brush is smooth to the touch but adds a sophisticated texture to the hardware. We recommend periodically wiping Black Stainless with a small dab of petroleum jelly to enhance the depth and shine of the finish.
This mirror-like No. 8 finish is an elegant way to stand out. Its completely smooth, glossy surface plays with the light and is a perfect way to show off the clean design of the hardware. Polished Stainless requires no ongoing maintenance except to be occasionally dusted with a lint-free rag.
