The DoubleTree Hilton at Melbourne Beach is a luxury beachfront hotel with 208 guest rooms. Originally built in 1986, the rooms were in desperate need of renovation by 2019. We partnered with developer Hogan Brothers International to provide our Oden Face Mount system in Brushed Stainless for the bath entry doors. Given close proximity to the ocean, the hardware needed to provide exceptional resistance to corrosion. Oden exceeded durability requirements, while matching the surrounding hardware perfectly. The design team was also drawn to Oden's minimal, modern aesthetic. The project was completed on-time and within budget. To help Reliance Construction optimize their installation schedule, the hardware was shipped in three stages.
The Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House has a long history of supporting families of seriously ill children. When the time came to increase their capacity, we partnered with renowned local architecture firm Ewing Cole and experienced contractor P. Agnes to expand and renovate their 40,000-square-foot facility. In designing the patient rooms, quiet and comfort were of primary importance. The Oden sliding door system delivers both. And with the organization maintaining the property over the long term, Ewing Cole knew that top performance and durability were essential. "We had to constantly assess the value of every element and what it contributes," said Saul Jabbawy, Director of Design at Ewing Cole. Double-sided Inger Door Pulls in Brushed Stainless complete the system. These pulls satisfy both ADA requirements and the House's strict sanitation protocol.
