We didn’t reinvent the wheel, we reinvented the bearing. The Baldur sliding door hardware system starts with its iconic hubless bearings. We surveyed the market and nothing was to our standards, so we obsessively engineered Baldur’s iconic bearings from the ground up ourselves. Manufactured right in our backyard, Baldur’s oversized bearings pair with our patented track system that appears to float along the wall thanks to truly concealed fasteners. Each wall attachment point is elegantly concealed with our specially engineered track plate to keep the focus where it should be—on Baldur’s utterly unique 4” hubless bearings.
The Baldur sliding door hardware system offers unparalleled design flexibility to fit most project plans. Baldur’s patented, oversized hubless bearings allow for door panels of up to 550 lbs and unlimited thickness. Available in Top Mount, Face Mount, and Glass Mount, the Baldur sliding door hardware system mounts to most wall types and is compatible with any panel material on the market. Pick the right door for the space regardless of size—Baldur can handle it.
Baldur is compatible with ADA pull force requirements on door panels of almost any size and material. Not only does Baldur work with panels weighing up to 550 lbs (for heavier panels, contact Krownlab Support), it does so without compromising its effortless movement.
The Baldur sliding door shower system has been designed with high-use projects in mind. Its industry-leading 10-year warranty is backed by rigorous testing, capstoned by a million open-and-close cycle wear test. The Baldur system is constructed from stainless steel and anodized aluminum—premium metals that translate to unparalleled product longevity.
With the Baldur sliding door hardware system, installers will have perfect installations in less time. To function properly, any sliding door track system needs to be mounted absolutely level. Drilling a half-dozen holes in a flawless line is not easy. But hidden inside Baldur’s track is the Tru-Level System™, giving 1/4” of out-of-level adjustability at each mounting point, during or after installation.

Unlike our surface-mounted products, which reference off the face of a door panel, Top Mount can be biased either toward the front or back of the panel, allowing you to get your door panel precisely the desired distance away from the wall. Because of this adjustability, we recommend Top Mount for installations involving door trim, molding, or base board.
Working with a particularly thick door panel? As long as your panel is thicker than 1-3/8" (for thinner panels, contact Krownlab Support), Top Mount is often your best bet. By biasing trolleys toward the back of the panel, the only upper limit to your panel thickness is the material you find. So take that slab of reclaimed lumber, and go forth with confidence.
Easily modify Baldur on the job site to fit any project. Order Baldur's military grade aluminum alloy track pre-drilled and cut; or hit your studs and alter track length in the field with commonly available tools. Baldur's infinitely adjustable door stops allow minute control of door travel range, even after installation. Move door stops to anywhere along the track with just a few turns of an Allen wrench.
Face Mount supports panels as thin as 1-1/4" and as thick as 2-1/2" with 1/8" of wall clearance. For thicker door panels or thicker base board, use Baldur Top Mount. Not sure exactly how thick your panel will be? We include four lengths of panel mounting screws so that you don't have to worry. For panels outside this range, contact Krownlab Support.
When it comes to construction, we know that no two surfaces are ever perfectly perpendicular, and things that were once level might not be after a few months. The deftly-hidden, patented vertical adjustment feature in our Glass Mount trolleys lets you fudge the difference. A full 1/4" of vertical play in each trolley can make up for a multitude of earlier imperfections, and ensures that every installation looks perfect (even if it's just a trick of the eye).
Although 1/2" is the most common glass thickness we see, our Glass Mount hardware is compatible with 3/8", 1/2", 5/8" and 3/4" thick panels. (Prefer the metric system? Our Glass Mount hardware systems are compatible with 10mm, 12 mm, 15mm, and 19mm glass, respectively.) Glass Mount systems include a 2" long stainless steel bottom guide specific to the thickness of your panel.
This premium directional finish is consistently our most popular. Parts are precisely textured with a fine linear or circular grain. Often referred to as a No. 4 directional finish, the fine linear graining is smooth to the touch and adds a sophisticated texture to the product. For similar finish offered with our Axel system, consider our Stainless Steel.
This premium linear or circular grain finish is far from lost in the rich black color of the product. Often referred to as a No. 4 directional finish, this fine graining is smooth to the touch and adds a sophisticated texture to the product. The final finish is either achieved through a specialized two-step electrolytic anodizing process, or a highly durable etching process. Unlike paint, plating, and powder coat, this finish will not crack, chip, or flake. For another black finish offered with our Axel system, consider our Black Steel.
